It’s the end of the season. A good covered pie is still on my mind. I brought granny Smith apples and some red plums to bake. As always, I get busy with something else, or put the project on hold until I have more time and a better mindset. My little sister doesn’t share this notion. She swept the whole bag of apples. This has been lurking in my folders for almost a year now. I kept postponing it waiting for the right time. I’m still not sure it’s the right time, you know, you’ve probably eaten a little too much cookies and cakes during the holidays, but this recipe is a killer and MUST be shared regardless.

Nectarine and Apple Pie

It’s fall.

Lebanon hasn’t failed to show us that. Days of rain and storms, cold weather, and autumn fruits.

I think I’m starting to grow fond of spring and autumn. They are the seasons that have moderate temperatures, beautiful clear weather and delicious produce (although I wouldn’t lie to you, I’m taking a jacket with me to work and I’m having a thick cover at night over me)
