My love for pancakes is UNDENIABLE!!!
But I can’t be eating pancakes EVERYDAY. As mentioned before (hello long-time followers of the blog who know of this) pancakes make me feel secure and comfortable. It is a comfort I created for myself after bad times. Not like the pancake plot in the series YOU where it was a comforting reminder of Beck’s father who made them for her as a kid. The best pancakes I’ve had are my own and let that be clear! (no cockiness here)
As I said, it’s not a good idea to have pancakes every day. It’s like dipping bread and sugar munching on it. It’s made worse when paired with high fat high sugar toppings. HELLO NUTELLA (I’m so glad I am not a fan of Nutella, bu t I would scoop Biscoff cookie butter by the spoonful into my mouth). So I had to come up with a trick! Continue reading
This is not my first shakshouka recipe. It is said, once you make it, you’ll keep making it all the time. I am not an exception to the rule!

If you feel the same as I do, please let me know and release me from my agony.
HERE IT IS
From the moment I open my eyes, sometimes even before I open them, I start thinking of what to have for breakfast. I get up and start making something to eat
Am I alone in this?
Probably this is why I have so many breakfast recipes on this blog.
This is not precisly a bruschetta. Technically it is. It is a piece of toasted bread, rubbed with garlic, topped with delicious ingredients. BUT it is certainly not an antipasto for me, excuse me Italians. I love these little filling bites for the limitless options one can layer in such a small bite.
There are still some seasonal tomatoes in produce shops and I LOVE tomatoes; red, ripe, juicy, and super flavourful. Go and grab the last ones out there and treat them well!
What is sleep if it weren’t a time machine to breakfast?
And breakfast is an appetizer to lunch. Dinner is a meal by itself.
I seriously open my eyes, check my notifications, and go to the bathroom all while I’m thinking what to cook for breakfast. Pancakes…. Eggs…. Shakshouka…. Toasts…. Cereal… Anything. Anything with coffee. Continue reading
