More than a week ago, I shared a small story on my Instagram about when a person in the online food-sphere gave me a remark about my weight gain upon seeing me after a long time. The comment I shared on the instagram story was that it is NOT OK to ask such a question to someone in the food world, especially when said in the condescending way he said it.
My reply in person was, “I eat, don’t we all in this field?”
I wouldn’t comment on their weight, or their double chin, because bodies change and we’re all going through things that sometimes a few of kilos are inevitable. Except for those “foodies” who take a picture of the food, and possibly a bite for the camera, then throw the rest away, followed by a DETOX post the day after.
If you have been feeling guilty for all what you’ve been eating, you have one solution. EAT MORE!
It has been proven, studies suggest (don’t ask what studies, because I just made that up), that eating makes you happier and more relaxed. Preventing yourself from eating something only causes stress and in some cases, might result in extreme weight gain. Continue reading
Cauliflower Steak with Lentils – Dinner
I have (somehow) completed week 1 of the Buzzfeed Clean Eating Challenge. I’ve been following the daily preparations since last Saturday evening when I bought the veggies and greens, washed them and packed them accordingly. It felt good; less bloated, less stomach rumbling or discomfort after eating, better bowel movements, fewer hunger storms because of stomach satisfaction and a general feeling of well-being.
