For the winter issue of The Carton magazine, entitled A Proustian Memory, a piece of writing that I submitted was published and I couldn’t get any prouder to be part of such cultural publication. This piece revisits my memories of the period of Saint Barbara’s day through Christmas with scents, sights, and flavors.
Christmas is getting nearer. The hectic life on the street, the bright decorations and ornaments, the songs in malls and shops (God, I hate those) and the jolly people all around!
What is it with Christmas and truffles?
There is something about these two.
They both bring joy.

It is a beginning of a new year. The holidays season went calmly; work most of the time and barely any holidays spirit. I finish work, go home, collect my energy and outstretch my body after a long crouching-next-to-computer-screen position for 8 hours.
